Parent's hands gently holding newborn baby's feet

Beyond the standard preparation...

Evidence-based. Birth-room grounded. Mother-to-mother.

Because preparing for birth is about more than knowing what to expect. It is about understanding your body, knowing your options, having practical tools to draw on, and feeling confident enough to navigate the unexpected. Grounded in evidence, informed by real birth-room experience, and shared from one mother to another.

Bump, Birth, Nest & Beyond

A deeper dive into birth preparation — for those who want more than the standard antenatal class.

What we will cover:

  • The physiology of birth — understanding how birth works and how to support your body's natural design through balance, movement, positioning, and practical tools.

  • Birth mindset & the subconscious — exploring the deeper layers of fear, trust, confidence, beliefs, and the subconscious patterns that can shape how we experience birth.

  • Practical preparation for birth — learning hands-on tools and strategies to help you and your partner navigate labour, support physiological birth, and adapt when plans change.

  • Informed choices & unexpected turns — understanding your options, common interventions, and how to stay connected to your values when birth unfolds differently than expected.

  • Partner as an active participant — building the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills partners need to become an active and connected part of the birth experience.

  • Conscious postpartum preparation — going deeper than the usual postpartum checklist to thoughtfully prepare for recovery, rest, nourishment, identity shifts, and the realities of early parenthood.

  • Connection beyond birth — preparing for the transition into parenthood together, strengthening your relationship, and creating space for honest conversations about how you'll support one another.

  • The whole family — exploring how to create a connected, supported transition for your growing family, including the role of older siblings and the wider support village.

There will be space to learn, practice, ask the questions you don't always get to ask, explore, connect, and build confidence — preparing not only for birth itself, but for the transformation that comes before and after it.
